Job Description:
- Research potential vendors.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Manage supplier negotiations, key supplier relationships, and frame work agreements with suppliers.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepares and reviews purchase orders.
- Review quality of purchased products.
- Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
- Assists with negotiating settlement complaints and resolving disputes.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Perform other office duties as assigned.
Job Requirement:
- Must be able to speak in Mandarin/English.
- Possess Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices. (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office related software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attitude and responsible character.
- Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions on behalf of the business.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
