We are looking for an entry-level digital retoucher, to start a full-time retoucher position.
Our home-based studio is situated in a quiet, leafy and relaxed part of the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town. The environment is calm and we are looking to expand the business due to an increased volume of work.
Basic knowledge of Photoshop CC is essential. Ideally suited to an individual that has entry-level experience working with still imagery.
Main responsibilities :
Basic clean-ups of images
Basic skin retouching and Path cutting with potential to earn and learn.
Requirements:
Knowledgeable in Photoshop CC
Experience in retouching beauty/fashion images (ie Basic skin retouching, smoothing clothes creases, basic colour grading and tackling uneven skin tones)
Ability to cut paths/make precise selections.
Fast learner with an eye for detail
Creative flair
Willingness to Learn and adapt knowledge.
Reliable, trustworthy and loyal
Enjoy retouching process.
Advantageous

Attention to detail
An understanding of the photography industry

Note:
Remuneration is based on experience and capability. There will be a basic salary, after which p/ image will be remunerated.
I am prepared to teach and train to the ideal candidate showing potential, however, a basic and solid knowledge of Photoshop is a must, along with a creative mind and artful eye. The interpersonal dynamic within the office is also important.
The position would suit someone keen to learn and grow. We are looking for a happy, energetic and conscientious individual to join our team.
