Key Responsibilities:
As an Emulation Application Engineer you will contribute to Mentor Graphics success by increasing customer satisfaction and productivity with emulation products both on-site and remotely.
This is challenging position that will assist in deploying and maintaining Mentor Graphics emulation verification tools. You will work closely with the sales account teams as well as the emulation product development teams.
As Emulation Application Engineer you will troubleshoot and remove technical obstacles; develop and deliver technical presentations and training on emulation products; Communicate customers
Technical requirements to product marketing; assist onsite in HW acceleration for deployment of product; Develop a network of technical relationships at a peer-to-peer level with our customers.
Travel is required for this position. 20-30% frequency .
Qualifications:
5 -10 years’ experience in industry verification tools, hardware/software design/testbench development. Expertise in RTL synthesis, C/C++ and processes (simulation and timing based aspects of hardware: race conditions, synchronization) and pre-silicon and post-silicon verification methodologies, and lab equipment (scopes, logic analyzers) are required.
Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog and software verification language is required. Simulator experience in Questa/Modelsim, VCS or NCVerilog is must.
Strong trouble shooting skills, ability to break a complex problem into its simple components is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills and program management skills are needed. UNIX/Linux OS experience is required.
Minimum: Bachelors of engineering in EE or CS. Masters is a plus.
